Daniel Marlowe
Hi! I am a mathematician and teaching fellow at the Warwick Mathematics Institute, where I recently completed a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Marco Schlichting (here is my PhD profile).
My research interests lie in homotopy theory, and in particular in algebraic and hermitian \(K\)-theory. I am interested in these as (higher) categorical invariants in themselves, and also through the lens of algebraic geometry and motivic homotopy theory.
Before Warwick, I was briefly a programmer for a contract research organisation specialising in the analysis of clinical trials data; before this, I was an MSc student at the University of Nottingham. Before this, I was an undergraduate student at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge.
